Job description

The Packaging Associate plays a vital role in our operations team, overseeing the final stage of the production process. In this position, you will ensure that each piece of finished framed art is carefully packaged and accurately labeled, meeting our high standards for quality and readiness for safe delivery to customers. This role combines hands-on machine operation with strong attention to detail and a focus on efficiency. A commitment to maintaining an organized, streamlined workspace is essential to supporting smooth daily operations.

Shift Time: 7:30AM - 5PM, Monday to Friday

In This Role

  • Operate box-cutting machinery to build custom packaging to specific dimensions with precision and care
  • Construct and assemble high-quality boxes, ensuring structural integrity is maintained throughout the process
  • Pack finished framed art securely, utilizing appropriate materials to ensure safe transit and quality standards
  • Identify items on all paperwork and label products accordingly to ensure 100% order accuracy
  • Maintain productivity requirements and workflow efficiency as needed to meet production goals
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies
  • Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person

  • 1+ year of experience in a production, warehouse, or art handling environment preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver larger framed items with assistance
  • Comfortable with continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, and reaching for up to 8 hours per day in a warehouse environment
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Steel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hours
