General Purpose of the Position:

Responsible for providing administrative support to the Manufacturing Manager, Quality Manager, Group Engineer, Quality / Process Engineer and Shift Supervisors. This position collects, compiles and analyzes manufacturing data and translates it into a usable format for plant management.

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist with GMP Audits

· Preparation of Job Folders

· Maintain Cylinder Inventory to include Description and Location, both in Mundet business system and in Excel

· Order cylinder remakes to include writing purchase orders and communicating with vendor regarding delivery schedules

· Job Manuals – to include creation of bills of material, routings, press instructions, custom configurations of text, laser instructions, ink formulations and input of correct cylinders

· Weekly Schedules – coordinate with Mfg Services Mgr to determine best time to take a press down (i.e., when more people are on vacation, thereby saving overtime costs) Coordinate with HR personnel, supervisors, and EHS Officer on employees’ availability to work after illness/injury

· Prepare and send component disclosures for each product to customers’ product integrity/scientific groups, to include substrate and inks used and the percentage of each. Communication with customers’ representatives as needed and obtain ink approval numbers if necessary

· Create and maintain ink worksheets in Excel, to include product, description, paper, inks, extenders, toner and component approval numbers, when necessary

· Maintain records of production and maintenance employees’ vacation and birthday holidays. Coordinate manning schedules using this info and approve days off as allowed in order to coordinate and maintain consistent plant coverage. Coordinate with payroll at end of year to make sure paid-out vacation time is correct

· Prepare yearly shift rotation schedule

· Input yearly shift and shift supervisor schedule into Mundet business system

· Coordinate training of new employees with shift supervisors to ensure employee is released only when fully trained, including making sure training documentation is provided

· Assist General Manager in moving around existing employees when there are promotions, to include notifying all shift supervisors, payroll, HR and other departments as necessary. Maintain Employee Team Assignment document as necessary. Prepare letters for employees moving out of the line of progression or moving back into the line of progression
