General Job Description
Custom Home Electrical Supervisor
Lead High-End Residential Projects from Start to Finish
Are you a skilled residential electrical professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, leadership, and running clean, efficient jobs? We're looking for an experienced Custom Home Electrical Supervisor to oversee high-end residential projects from underground through final trim and warranty.

What You'll Do
As a Custom Home Electrical Supervisor, you will take ownership of projects and lead teams to deliver quality work on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate electrical crews on custom residential projects
  • Review electrical plans, lighting layouts, and panel schedules
  • Manage underground, rough-in, trim, final, and warranty phases
  • Ensure all jobs are inspection-ready and pass NEC and local code requirements
  • Perform internal quality control checks prior to inspections
  • Communicate effectively with builders, superintendents, and project managers
  • Coordinate with other trades to prevent conflicts and delays
  • Approve and manage pull sheets and material usage
  • Monitor labor hours, productivity, and job performance
  • Enforce company safety procedures and quality standards
  • Resolve jobsite issues and deficiencies promptly
  • Support change orders and scope clarifications
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites

What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
  • Texas Wireman or Journeyman Electrical License (Required)
  • 5+ years of residential electrical experience (custom home experience required)
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

Preferred:
  • Experience working directly with custom home builders
  • Experience with high-end lighting systems and smart home wiring
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and in attics or crawl spaces
  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions

Work Environment
  • Active residential construction sites
  • Exposure to dust, noise, and changing site conditions
  • Both indoor and outdoor work environments
