Our company is looking for an experienced automotive technician to join our established and busy repair shop. We have served the St. Petersburg area for more than 35 years and perform a wide range of services, including brakes, steering and suspension, maintenance, air-conditioning repair, diagnostics, general automotive repair, and custom exhaust work.
We are looking for a well-rounded technician with strong automotive repair experience who can work independently, stay productive, and complete quality repairs without constant supervision. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a variety of repairs and willing to continue developing additional skills as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair common automotive problems
  • Perform brake, steering, suspension, maintenance, A/C, and general repair work
  • Complete thorough vehicle inspections
  • Properly document recommended repairs
  • Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Communicate clearly with the service advisor and shop owner
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
  • Participate in continued training and skill development
Qualifications
  • At least three years of professional automotive repair experience
  • Strong knowledge of general automotive repair and diagnostics
  • Ability to work independently
  • Own basic automotive tools
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
