As a Custom Applicator, you will gain hands-on experience and skills by primarily operating a sprayer or airflow equipment to safely apply crop protection and nutrient products for our farmer customers.

Requirements

As a full-time Custom Applicator, you can expect to:

  • Operate field application equipment, heavy-duty trucks, and blending equipment.
  • Have excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Work additional hours during the busy season, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicators License and a Class A CDL with necessary endorsements and maintain commercial insurability.
  • Able to lift moderate to heavy (60 pounds) items on a regular basis, climb ladders, and work near moving equipment.

The starting pay range for applicators new to the business is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour and is based on job-related skills, background experience, licenses held, and industry knowledge. You can earn a bonus based on application production and quality.
