Job description

Job Description A well-known and reputable ag operation is actively seeking an experienced Custom Applicator for a prominent Missouri crop producer. We are open to training the right farm equipment operator who is eager to learn and grow within the role. Custom Applicator Responsibilities:
  • Main focus on spraying (March to November) with assistance in crop production.
  • Operate larger late model precision Ag equipment, preferably John Deere.
  • Responsible for spraying approximately 35,000 acres each season.
  • Conduct spraying primarily within a 45-mile radius.
  • Utilize strong math skills to calculate chemical rates and read chemical labels.
  • Demonstrate conscientiousness and heightened awareness during application.
  • Take pride in delivering high-quality results.
  • Self-starter with flexibility to work varying hours during spray season.
  • Work week from November to March is Monday to Friday, with weekends off.
  • Prioritize routine maintenance and general repair tasks.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a CDL.
Custom Applicator Qualifications:
  • Preferred experience in sprayer application, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Proficient math skills for accurate calculations.
  • Ability to read and understand chemical labels.
  • Strong preventative maintenance and repair skills.
  • Willingness to obtain a CDL.
  • Crop production knowledge is a plus.
  • Pride in work and attention to detail.
