Job description

Federated Co-ops, inc. is hiring for a Custom Applicator Manager to work out of our Osceola WI location! This is a hands-on position that will assist in directing, and coordinating custom application, equipment and building maintenance operations according to safety regulations and laws while maintaining efficiency, and outstanding customer service.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Custom Applicator Manager include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Supervises custom applicator team and commercial driversEnsure staff properly use and maintain equipment and building maintenanceAccurately maintain field mapping databaseAssist with hiring processSet up and calibrate equipment to be used in the fieldFollows and oversees employees comply with all safety rules and regulationsMaintain a positive attitude that promotes teamworkMust be able to work extended hours when necessaryEducation/Experience:1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Qualifications:Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtainValid D.O.T. Medical Card or ability to obtainValid Commercial Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtainHazmat and Tanker Endorsements or ability to obtainMust have working knowledge of all agronomy equipment with the ability to perform routine maintenanceMust comprehend basic measurements and calculations for calibration (gallons per acre, and acres per tank)Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
