  • Reports to: Head Custodian/District Custodial Supervisor School.
  • Department: Operations.
  • Pay Grade: Manual Trades/Hourly Pay Grade 1.

  • Wage/hour status: Non-Exempt.
HUMBLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT 

Job Description Custodian 
  • Set tables, chairs and other furniture for special events as required.
  • Learn the location and use of fire extinguishers.
  • Police, pickup, debris on all grounds.
  • Report any unsafe working conditions to the supervisor.
  • Do not allow unauthorized personnel into the building.
  • Turn off all lights in unoccupied areas.
  • Safely use and dispose of any and all cleaning chemicals.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of all cleaning equipment.
  • Willingness to work in any district facility.
  • Change out light tubes using a six foot ladder as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
