Job Summary

This individual is responsible for executing and maintaining all Quality Assurance (QA) programs, ensuring compliance with client expectations, company standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. The role supports the continuous improvement of custodial operations through on-site inspections, audits, evaluations, reporting, and employee training focused on cleaning quality, sanitation standards, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promotes, enforces, maintains, and verifies Quality Assurance (QA) and safety reporting standards across custodial operations.
  • Conducts routine inspections, audits, and evaluations of custodial services to ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards.
  • Provides written feedback to site managers regarding quality deficiencies, compliance concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partners with managers and supervisors to develop corrective action plans and resolve operational and quality challenges.
  • Serves as a liaison between clients, senior leadership, and site management teams on all QA-related matters.
  • Participates in internal inspections, client assessments, and third-party audits.
  • Delivers training and coaching to custodial associates on quality standards, cleaning procedures, safety practices, and company policies.
  • Maintains accurate inspection records, audit documentation, training records, and compliance reports.
  • Tracks performance metrics and identifies trends to support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience in custodial operations, environmental services, facilities management, quality assurance, or compliance programs.
  • Knowledge of cleaning industry standards, infection prevention practices, workplace safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience conducting operational audits, inspections, and quality assessments.
  • Strong data management, reporting, documentation, and technical writing skills.
  • Excellent communication, training, coaching, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to improve service quality and operational performance.
  • Ability to travel between sites as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry certifications related to custodial management, environmental services, quality assurance, safety, or facilities management.
  • Experience supporting healthcare, higher education, corporate, or commercial facilities environments.
  • Knowledge of cleaning performance measurement systems and quality control methodologies.
