Custodial Shift SupervisorKane Realty Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Shift Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift custodial operations (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). This role is responsible for supervising custodial team members, ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards, and delivering a high level of service across assigned properties.The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can effectively coordinate daily operations, maintain quality standards, support team development, and promote a safe and professional work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, coordinate, direct, inspect, and evaluate the performance of 2nd shift custodial staff.Plan, organize, and prioritize daily custodial and grounds-related activities to ensure efficient workflow and operational effectiveness.Assign duties and monitor completion of work assignments to maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the property.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure appearance, sanitation, and service standards meet or exceed expectations.Assist with scheduling adjustments and staffing coordination in collaboration with the Custodial Manager.Review and improve work methods, procedures, and training practices to ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational expectations.Support the implementation and maintenance of safety programs and procedures across all assigned locations.Assist in developing and maintaining training programs for custodial staff, ensuring all training is properly documented.Monitor inventory and assist in determining equipment, supplies, and tools necessary for efficient operations.Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability, professionalism, and customer service.Qualifications & SkillsStrong leadership and team supervision abilities with the capacity to work independently and make sound decisions.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.Ability to read, interpret, and follow policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and chemical usage instructions.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Working knowledge of custodial operations, cleaning methods, equipment, and safety practices.Ability to travel independently between multiple sites as needed.Must be bilingual.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stretch, twist, climb, and sit for extended periods.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds unassisted.Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, wetness, dust, and noise.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.1–3 years of custodial, facilities, or service-related operations experience required.Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.ScheduleSaturday - Wednesday (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)Pay$20/hr
