Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable candidate who is a team player to join our team as a Cushion Filler. The Cushion Filler is responsible for accurately filling, shaping, and preparing furniture cushions according to company quality standards and production specifications. This position ensures cushions are properly stuffed, filled, visually appealing, and ready for final assembly or upholstery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Fill cushions with designated materials, including fiber, foam, or blended filling products according to production requirements.
  • Inspect cushion covers and filling materials for defects prior to assembly.
  • Shape and distribute filling evenly to achieve proper cushion appearance, comfort, and consistency.
  • Adjust cushion fill levels to meet product specifications and quality standards.
  • Operate equipment used in cushion filling and maintain a clean, safe work area.
  • Collaborate with upholstery and sewing departments to ensure production schedules and quality expectations are met.
  • Perform final inspections of completed cushions for size, shape, firmness, and workmanship.
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality control standards.

Qualifications
  • Previous furniture manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and finished cushions as required.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive hand movements, and lift up to 50 pounds safely.

Shift: Monday to Thursday 7am - 4:30pm & Friday 7a-11a
Pay: Depends on experience
