ABOUT THE ROLE

Mizzen+Main is seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and team-oriented Keyholder to support our retail team and serve as a leader on the sales floor. The ideal candidate has a passion for fashion, a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role includes key-holding duties, store leadership support, and direct customer interaction.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Act as a store leader in the absence of store management by opening/closing the store, ensuring daily operations run smoothly, and assisting in assigning tasks to team members.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by engaging clients in a warm, genuine, and knowledgeable manner, effectively guiding them through the shopping experience.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge, drive sales, and handle all transactions including purchases, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Maintain brand presentation and operational and visual excellence through effective merchandising, replenishment, and organization of sales floor and stockroom.
  • Assist in training and supporting new team members to uphold Mizzen+Main standards of service, appearance, and operational procedures.
  • Communicate and promote current events, product launches, and store promotions to drive traffic and increase sales.
  • Ensure in-store events are executed in alignment with brand standards and deliver a premium customer experience.
  • Take ownership of store upkeep, including cleaning, restocking supplies, and ensuring fitting rooms and displays remain neat and functional.
  • Understand and enforce all company policies and procedures to ensure store compliance and safety.
  • Proactively build and expand the customer base through strategic networking, community outreach, and consistent client follow-up.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Prior retail or customer-facing experience, preferably in a keyholder or supervisory role.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, tablets, and other retail technology.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Dependable and punctual, with the ability to follow direction and take initiative.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
