Job description

A math-only learning center in the Missouri City area has several temporary openings for a math instructor to work with students in grades 2-12. Must start immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual math instruction aligned with pre-determined curriculum
  • Assist students with homework and test preparation
  • Motivate and engage students to foster success and confidence in math
  • Apply teaching methods learned during training effectively
  • Interact professionally with students and parents
  • Work flexible hours, mainly mid-afternoon through early evening, Sunday through Friday (based on your availability)

Required Qualifications

  • Exceptional math skills through Pre-Calculus
  • College degree
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities
  • Energetic and confident personality
  • Ability to engage professionally with students and parents

Preferred Qualifications

  • Teacher Certification or experience as a tutor with High School subjects
