Core Faculty | Flexible FTE of 0.7 - 1.0 FTE | Shape the future of Family Medicine

Summary

The University of Minnesota/CentraCare St. Cloud Family Medicine Residency program is seeking a Core Faculty Physician who is enthusiastic about preparing the next generation of physicians for practice. Whether you're passionate about teaching, maternity care, inpatient medicine, or program development, we are committed to creating a role that aligns with your strengths and interests.

We welcome faculty with interests such as osteopathic manipulative therapy, addiction medicine, lifestyle medicine, maternity care, rural medicine, quality improvement, and other areas that enhance our curriculum.

Schedule

  • FTE: 0.71.0 | Onsite at CentraCare- Family Health Clinic
  • Precepting Residents: Engage in teaching and guiding residents in the clinic or the hospital (approximately 40% of time).
  • Clinical Practice: Provide clinical care in our residency clinic (approximately 40% of time).
  • Administrative & Curriculum Development: Dedicated time for program administration and curriculum development (approximately 20% of time), including integration of our programs training in lifestyle medicine.

Pay and Benefits

  • Starting pay (first year) begins at $289,918 per year or $307,918 per year when doing OB; exact wage determined by years of related experience 
  • Second year salary range: $322,000 to $343,000
  • Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Required:

  • BE/BC in Family Medicine
  • Eligibility for Minnesota medical licensure
  • Experience as a Family Medicine Physician
