Senior Socio-Cultural Analyst (CI/HUMINT Language Analysis)- Farsi

Responsibilities
  • Perform as language specialist at the native level providing accurate reading, writing, speaking skills, and provide cultural understanding regarding geopolitical, economic and social issues.
  • Conduct research, HUMINT intelligence collection and analysis. Additionally, provide accurate translations of transcripts, video and audio sources, from the target language to English and vice versa while preserving the original meaning and intent.
  • As a language specialist, devise and advise new methods of target language research and exploitation of information and determine the most effective methods for presenting and disseminating the information.
  • Produce Operating Instructions (Oils) for Command wide programs and initiatives as assigned by the Government. While no specific certifications are required, the contractor should be an expert in network defense principles and the intricacies of establishing network infrastructure for worldwide connectivity, to include hardware and software.
Required Qualifications/Skills
  • "Native Level" is defined as first/second generation speaking ability to understand current vernacular, colloquialisms, and terminology (Proficiency level of 4 required in speaking, reading, and writing for J2X).
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years, and a master’s degree.
  • OR
  • A minimum of 17 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years, and a bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
  • Active TS/SCI with a Current Poly (within 5 years).
