Job description

We're seeking a detail-oriented well-rounded Associate to assist the Cultivation team with daily functions that will support many facets of the company. The ideal candidate will be punctual, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and willing to join a new role at any moment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the plants are in optimal health and report any problems seen on daily walks
  • Maintains a high degree of attention to detail, accountability, and responsibility
  • Responsible for implementing corrections and corrective actions
  • Identifies and documents and problems related to the product, process, or quality system
  • Plant maintenance, cloning, transplanting
  • Wash and sanitize all equipment
  • Must be able to adapt to various strains, styles, and types of cannabis being propagated, adjusting to techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality
  • Perform all prerequisite tasks necessary to begin a room harvest
  • Removal of plant from growing medium and netting/trellis onto hooks to be delivered to dry rooms
  • Maintaining separation of strains and phenols if necessary, during harvest to ensure accurate accountability of plant counts
  • Knowledge of pest and disease control management is a plus.
  • Maintain and follow the cultivation department policies and procedures.
  • Wash and sanitize all equipment and the entire room. Scout all equipment, ensuring all tools are free of pests, viruses or disease. Complete wipe down and sanitization of every unit and piece of equipment before restarting the room.
  • Preparation tasks for room load including but not limited to placement of grow media onto tables, hanging trellis on tables, inserting plants directly on grow media, installation of irrigation hoses and drippers, etc.
  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of irrigation systems, including the setup of irrigation hoses and drippers, to ensure plants receive the appropriate amount of water and nutrients. Troubleshoot and resolve irrigation-related issues to maintain optimal plant health

Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior cultivation and/or irrigation experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience preferred but not required

Requirements
  • Must be over 21 years of age.
  • Must be approved by the Nevada Cannabis Control Board to receive and maintain a current registered Agent Card.
  • Available to work various schedules.
  • Flexible availability to workday, weekend, and night shifts.
  • Must be able to work at least 40 hours a week.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer.
  • Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 40 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
  • Must be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
  • Day shift: 7AM-4PM M-F
  • Onsite Location: Las Vegas, NV 89115
