Position Summary:
The Foodservice Region Sales Manager drives company foodservice sales goals, strategy, and activities within the defined territory. As the team's Segment Specialist, this role develops and implements a sales strategy and serves as a subject matter expert for the designated segment. The Region Manager monitors, analyzes and drives performance against sales goals for brokers across the territory.
Position Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Dietetics, Marketing, or a related field - or a degree/certification in Culinary Arts.
• 3+ years of foodservice experience (roles such as Broker Sales Rep, Distributor Sales Rep, Manufacturer Regional/Operator/Specialty Sales Rep.)
• Account experience within the education segment
• Alignment with core company values: Proactive, Respect, Openness, Mutual Trust, Integrity, Safety and Excellence.
• Must reside in Central/Eastern PA or NJ.
• Direct account management experience
Valued:
• MBA or other Master's Degree
• 5+ years of foodservice sales experience (Foodservice Contract Management, Healthcare or Chain Accounts)
• Experience with Broker Management
• Experience working for a family-held company
Compensation:
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. A candidate meeting the minimum requirements may be offered a salary at the starting point of the range, while a highly qualified candidate with extensive experience may be placed at the higher end of the range.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed sales goals within the region.
  • Serve as a team Segment Specialist, driving segment growth and strategy.
  • Operate within annual spending budgets.
  • Manage regional forecasting and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Optimize Contract Management accounts to grow sales profitably.
  • Lead, train, and manage brokers.
  • Conduct sales meetings, trade shows, distributor and operator sales calls.
  • Negotiate distributor marketing programs and operator programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
