JOB SUMMARY
The Dining Marketing Manager (Client Field Sites) is a creative, results-focused, high-performing individual strategically aligned with the vision and pillars of the Dining Services team. This dynamic leader will be focused on driving communications and initiatives that positively impact the customer experience and will spearhead marketing & communications programs for our progressive foodservice client. This position is responsible for developing and rolling out new marketing and communications initiatives which will generate new sales, drive participation, and continuously improve customer experience/satisfaction. The role will work closely to support operations, culinary advancement and new brand development/roll-out, as well as partner with the Senior Customer Engagement Specialist to create new programs and initiatives based on customer feedback. This will be an onsite position based in Atlanta, GA with occasional work from home available based on business needs. This role will also have occasional travel to additional client sites across North America.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop & manage dynamic marketing, storytelling & communications campaigns for a variety of dining & retail locations, service styles & formats for 6 Field Site locations.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Field Sites leadership and Lines of Business (LOB), including the Culinary and Operations teams. Use influence, strategy, and organization to improve and restructure promotional processes.
• Provide holistic marketing strategy for Field Sites leveraging Puget Sound campaigns, brand and creative as appropriate. Ensure branding and visual communications at all Field Sites are cohesive with the rest of the client dining portfolio.
• Partner with Digital Strategy Communications Manager in developing communication content strategy and execution for all Field Sites.
• Support Senior Leadership with marketing/communications plans for all current/new operations initiatives at Field Sites.
• Develop strategic client relationship management & communications development.
• Maintain the communications/content on website and social media communications.
• Manage the development of all graphic design collaborating with Design Manager for all printed collateral, including but not limited to menu/menu boards, a-frame signage, digital signage, PIDs, etc.
• Conduct regular meetings with Field Site leads; create all marketing plans & conduct ROI metrics analysis.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Assist Field Site General Managers in the implementation and quality assurance of all Compass programs and internal brands, drive top lines sales and maintain the integrity of proprietary brand standards.
• Lead & train on merchandising philosophy in all dining environments.
• Support marketing for local brand/restaurant programs and culinary advancement initiatives.
• Partner with Sr. Customer Engagement Specialist to garner customer feedback to implement marketing programming that resonates with customers and drive measurable change.
• Determine, develop and recommend process improvements to support operational efficiency and optimize marketing & communications processes.
• Other priorities and duties assigned by Senior Marketing Manager and/or Director
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 5+ years briefing, writing, designing, managing and executing high profile marketing programs (retail, hospitality, restaurant)
• Experience supporting remote teams and working across multiple time zones; be willing to work flexible hours, per business needs
• Strong knowledge of menu development and creative executions of menu formats
• Strong knowledge of digital communications and social media platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence - both verbal and written to effectively interact with senior leaders as well as front line employees.
• Highly proficient in developing presentations, utilizing PowerPoint as well as other mainstream software and technology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
• Working knowledge of high-quality marketing collateral development and vendor management
• Ability to develop systems for tracking projects and meeting deadline
• Manage projects against a plan and objectives to ensure commitments are met by monitoring, assessing, and resolving variances in budget, timing or quality of work
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Passion, knowledge and appreciation of culinary arts, food and dining with a focus on customer experience
• College or graduate degree in business, marketing, communications or related field
• Experience with additional tools like PowerBI and Monday.com preferred
