The Opportunity: Director of Operations
As our Director of Operations, you will serve as the bridge between vision and execution, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple licensed childcare centers. You'll provide strategic leadership, ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, drive enrollment growth, and mentor site leaders to achieve high performance across every location.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your ability to build systems, coach directors, and implement operational excellence that will directly impact staff success, family satisfaction, and child outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and support Center Directors and administration teams across all sites.
  • Establish and oversee operational systems with clear KPIs, checks and balances, and accountability measures.
  • Monitor and improve center performance in the areas of licensing compliance, staff retention, financial health, enrollment and quality of care.
  • Ensure a unified organizational culture across sites, rooted in excellence, safety, and nurturing care.
  • Supervise daily operations of all centers to ensure licensing compliance, program quality, enrollment targets, and financial health.
  • Standardize operational systems across locations: scheduling, inventory, staffing, billing, and parent communications.
  • Implement and enforce systems and policies that support accountability and efficiency at site level.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic growth plans, center expansions, and quality initiatives.
  • Serve as a coach, mentor, and problem-solver to empower your team to lead with confidence and clarity.
