Job description

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Previous cleaning/maintenance experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to stand on your feet for four to six hours, climb stairs and work in all outside weather conditions
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Skills:

  • Display personal responsibility to complete tasks and duties in a timely manner and with confidentiality.
  • Display interpersonal skills to work well with others by responding appropriately to supervisors, co-workers, and stadium guests/patrons.
  • Possess the ability to coordinate your own work tasks efficiently, accurately, and professionally.
  • Possess the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Display the ability to communicate in a clear, timely, professional, and organized manner.
  • Must be amiable, considerate, and patient and have a good self-image, conveying a positive message to co-workers and stadium guests/
  • Possess the ability to analyze and solve problems skillfully, logically, and timely.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work all home games and other non-baseball events.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Job duties:

  • Demonstrate and promote the South Bend Cubs Values and standards at all times.
  • Prepare the seating bowl area, restrooms, concourse, indoor/outdoor suites and other parts of the stadium grounds for game day or other events
  • Be available during games or events to maintain the cleanliness of the seating bowl area, restrooms, concourse, indoor/outdoor suites and other parts of the stadium grounds
  • Clean all seating bowl areas, restrooms, concourse, indoor/outdoor suites and other parts of the stadium grounds after the game or other events
  • Attend and contribute to department and company staff meetings
  • Maintain open communication with staff, fellow employees, other department directors, General Manager, and Team President
  • Discuss any problems beyond your control with the General Manager and/or Team President
  • Be willing to complete other duties or responsibilities that are assigned
