Digital Consultants is seeking a ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) who will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise scale ServiceNow solutions in support of a USAF program. This role provides hands on technical leadership across multiple platform areas-including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, SecOps, HRSD, and App Engine-ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant delivery aligned with federal and DoD requirements.


Responsibilities: ServiceNow Architecture & Platform Leadership:  Architect scalable, secure, and compliant ServiceNow solutions across multiple domains and modules.


Serve as the technical SME for:

  • IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • IT Operations Management (ITOM)
  • IT Asset Management (ITAM)
  • Security Operations (SecOps)
  • Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
  • Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
  • App Engine & Automation Engine

CMDB and CSDM:

  • Design and oversee integrations using Integration Hub, REST APIs, and custom spokes.
  • Lead platform governance, ensuring alignment with best practices and federal security standards.
  • Guide developers and administrators on technical design, configuration, and implementation.
  • Produce and maintain technical design documentation, architectural diagrams, and configuration standards.

Collaboration & Program Support:

  • Work closely with Program Managers, Product Owners, and Stakeholders to support roadmap planning, backlog refinement, and solution delivery.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into architectural blueprints and actionable solutions.

Network Architecture & Engineering:

  • Provide SME level support on network infrastructure and network hardware.
  • Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
  • Create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning.
  • Apply strong understanding of network protocols, LAN/WAN technologies, and network security.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

 Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience including:
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI Eligibility
  • ServiceNow architecture, configuration, workflow development, and platform enhancements.
  • Establishing and executing platform governance.
  • Evaluating operational and strategic demands against platform capabilities and leading practices.
  • Translating technical and business requirements into architectural blueprints.
  • Working directly with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and map requirements to ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Creating architectural blueprints for federal agencies.
  • Leading ServiceNow version upgrades.
  • Deep understanding of overall ServiceNow platform architecture.
  • Network security, LAN/WAN design, and network infrastructure documentation.

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II (e.g., Sec+ CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security)

Technical Expertise:

  • App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Predictive Intelligence
  • Strong knowledge of CMDB and CSDM
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines integrated with ServiceNow

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with DoD NIPR, SIPR and JWICS Networks 
  • DoD 8570.01-M IASAE II (CASP+CE, CISSP, CSSLP) compliance
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
