Where do CT techs make the most money?

CT technologists tend to earn higher salaries in regions with a higher cost of living and greater demand for healthcare services. Typically, urban areas and states with advanced medical facilities offer higher compensation, especially for those with specialized skills or certifications. Salary can also vary based on experience, certifications, and work environment.

How long does it take to become a CT tech?

Becoming a CT technologist typically requires completing a radiologic technology program, which takes about 1 to 2 years, followed by obtaining certification such as the ARRT certification in CT. To become a CT radiographer, individuals typically need a high school diploma or equivalent, followed by completing a radiologic technology program accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
