Job description

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist (Contract)

Location: California 95240
Pay: $2,473 – $2,770/week
Shift: 2nd Shift – 8-hour Evening Shift


Position Summary
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes

  • Perform a range of imaging procedures including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy

  • Ensure accurate image capture, transfer, and documentation using PACS and teleradiology systems


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and ensure safety during imaging procedures

  • Perform CT, radiography, and fluoroscopy imaging

  • Generate and review reformatted images for diagnostic use

  • Accurately document and transfer imaging data

  • Maintain equipment functionality and manage supplies

  • Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality standards


Requirements
  • Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)

  • Certifications/Licensure:

    • ARRT Certification: R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) – Required

    • California Radiologic Technologist License – Required

    • BLS Certification – Required

    • Fluoroscopy License (RHF) – Required

    • ARRT-CT or ARRT-R – Required

  • Preferred:

    • Advanced CT Certification

    • Venipuncture Certification
