  • Generate detailed 2D production drawings, including exploded views, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and detailed annotations.
  • Maintain and update the standard library of components and hardware.

2. GD&T & Technical Standards

  • Apply ASME Y14.5 standards to all engineering drawings.
  • Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure the functionality and fit of mating parts.

3. Data Management (PDM)

  • Manage the lifecycle of technical data within SolidWorks PDM (check-in/out, versioning, and state changes).
  • Execute Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR) with high attention to detail.
  • Ensure all metadata and custom properties are correctly populated for ERP/MRP system integration.

4. Manufacturing (Mfg) Support

  • Troubleshoot production issues by providing rapid "redline" updates to drawings.
  • Design custom jigs, fixtures, and tooling to assist in the assembly and fabrication process.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Technical: 3+ years of professional experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM.
  • Expertise: Advanced knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent work experience).
