Role Description

The Customer Service/Inside Sales Support role is a full-time position based in Costa Mesa, CA. The Inside Sales & Customer Service Support role is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experience and seamless internal coordination across the sales and order fulfillment process. This position supports a designated sales territory by managing inbound inquiries, processing orders and quotations, and acting as a key liaison between customers, regional sales teams, and internal departments. The primary goal is to uphold high standards of responsiveness, accuracy, and service while contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the sales operation.

Main Position Responsibilities
  • Territory & Customer Support: Provide responsive support to customers and sales representatives while coordinating territory-related activities.
  • Order Management & Processing: Review and validate incoming orders for accuracy (product codes, pricing, BOM, commissions, etc.) and manage the full order lifecycle from quote through shipment by coordinating with internal teams.
  • Quoting & Project Take-Offs: Perform lighting take-offs from construction drawings and create drawing markups using Bluebeam Revu or Adobe Acrobat.
  • System & Inbox Management: Prioritize and respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, and use SAP and other internal systems to retrieve invoices, proformas, tracking information, packing slips, and other order documentation.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related role - preferably within the lighting or architectural products industry
  • Prefer experience with SAP, Dynamics, Adobe and Bluebeam Revu
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Strong Customer Service and Customer Support skills to manage inquiries, orders, and issue resolution effectively
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus
