Monitors accounts receivable aging, ensures timely billing and collection of outstanding balances, and provides input regarding credit policies and payment standards. Maintains appropriate controls over direct billing customers and coordinates the use of outside collection agencies when appropriate.

Cost and Revenue Management: Partners with department leaders to maximize operational efficiency, revenue, and profitability. Provides financial guidance related to labor and operating expenses, identifies cost-saving and revenue-generating opportunities, and evaluates the potential costs and benefits of new business opportunities. Applies sound business judgment and ensures compliance with CSM procurement guidelines.

Strategic Business Partnership: Serves as a trusted financial advisor to the General Manager, Executive Committee, and department leaders. People Management: Leads and develops the accounting team through effective hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, priority setting, and recognition. Builds a collaborative, professional, and accountable team environment and develops the skills and capabilities of team members through ongoing feedback and development.

Self/Workload Management: Effectively manages multiple priorities and meets strict financial reporting and operational deadlines. Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication, sound judgment, accountability, and attention to detail. Promotes collaboration and maintains a positive, professional work environment. Adheres to CSM Standard Operating Procedures and attendance policies.
