We are seeking a Consultant/Senior Water Treatment Engineer to lead and support industrial water projects within the Industrial Water group with focus in mining/metals, oil/gas, desalination, and/or data centers. This role involves technical leadership, project management, team development, and client engagement, with a focus on advanced water treatment systems.  

We are looking for a professional who balances design engineering with "boots-on-the-ground" problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities:


   Promote Hatch's Industrial Water services across the Industrial Water Sector.  
   Mentor and develop junior engineers within the Industrial Water team.
   Lead and contribute to engineering studies, designs, reports, and presentations.
   Prepare proposals, and client communications.
   Ensure quality assurance and control throughout project execution.
   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
   Explore and implement innovative water management solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:


   15+ years of experience in Industrial Water within Mining/Metals, Oil & Gas, Desalination, and/or Data Centers.
   Proven and practical expertise in mine water treatment, and advanced water treatment technologies (e.g., Ultrafiltration, Reverse Osmosis, Evaporation/Crystallization, etc..).
   Strong knowledge of industrial water treatment processes and design management.
   Recognized within the Industrial Water industry for technical leadership.
   Skilled in developing water treatment models using advanced techniques.
   Excellent communication skills-verbal, written, and presentation.
   Committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
   Passionate about mentoring and knowledge sharing.

Base salary range: $115,000 - $165,000
