Job Description & Expectations

  • Be a self starter on a team of highly qualified and knowledgable employees and consultants who have years of SAP BOBJ experience and need you to assist them in the move to BI 4.0.
  • Utilize experience in integrating, designing and building reports to migrate content from BOBJ 3.1 to the new BI 4.0. 
  • SAP BOE BI 4.0 is used, with report design tools Crystal Reports BI 4.0, Business Objects Dashboard Design (Xcelsius) BI 4.0. Work along side current development staff and transfer knowledge to them of the differences between XI3.1 development and BI 4.0 development
  • Participate in and help lead Best Practices and Standards creation for report design, coding, deployment, migration of content from XI3.1 and configuration for the BI 4.0 Environment.
  • Utilize experience in BI 4.0 to actively help the team avoid pitfalls and common mistakes.
  • Work with the BI team, analysts, architects and management toward the design and development of optimal solutions in the BI 4.0 enviornment.

Required Skills

  • SAP Business Objects Enterprise BI 4.0
  • SAP Crystal Reports versions compatible with Enterprise BI 4.0
  • SAP Crystal Reports versions compatible with BOBJ 3.1

Required Experience

  • 1 year experience with SAP Business Objects Enterprise BI 4.0
  • 1 year experience with SAP Crystal Reports versions compatible with Enterprise BI 4.0
  • 1 year experience with SAP Crystal Reports versions compatible with BOBJ 3.1

 

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Universe design and creation using the Universe Design Tool (UDT)
  • Universe design and creation using Information Design Tool (IDT)
  • Migrating Universes from the BOBJ XI3.1 environment to the BI 4.0
  • Any other BI 4.0 Administrative or Configuration Experience
  • WEBI 4.0 experience.
  • Extensive experience in previous versions of SAP Business Objects Enterprise, WEBI, Universes, Xcelsius (version BOBJ XI3.1 experience preferred)
