Schedule & Pay:

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM โ€“ 3:15 PM ; Friday OT required as needed

$18.50 - $20.90

Job Summary:ย 

The Assembler I is responsible for attaching doors, drawers, and hardware to Frameless Cabinets.

Job Duties:ย 

  • Reviews construction orders and prioritizes work.
  • Communicates with drafters as needed to clarify jobs and programming.
  • Performs touch-ups and repairs.
  • Sets up and operates a variety of machines i.e., chop saws, edge banders, routers, dowelers, pocket screws, etc.
  • Assembles cabinets with special parts or hardware, modifying construction methods if needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of other departments within the company i.e., drawers, parts, doors as needed to complete jobs.
  • Gathers and organizes parts i.e., doors, drawer parts and hardware as needed to complete weekly work load.
  • Maintains knowledge of set up to ensure product is properly built.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.
  • Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices, i.e. tape measure, etc.
  • Fills in other areas as needed.
