Job description

Business Development Manager - US
Location: New York City or surrounding area
Want to help shape the future of markets? Tired of the same old industries? We're looking for a high-impact sales professional to help push NEXT.io into the rapidly evolving world of prediction markets, financial innovation, and crypto.
This is a role for someone ambitious, curious, and commercially driven-joining a team that's building at the intersection of finance, media, and emerging technology.
The Role
You'll be responsible for driving growth across NEXT.io's portfolio within the prediction markets, trading, and crypto ecosystems. You'll bring a strong understanding of financial markets, digital assets, or trading platforms-and a desire to stay at the forefront of where markets are heading.
You'll build meaningful relationships with founders, operators, traders, and investors, helping them leverage NEXT.io's media, events, and partnerships to grow their businesses.
Working cross-functionally, you'll ensure clients receive a high-quality, tailored experience-from first touch through to long-term partnership-while contributing to a broader customer strategy that strengthens our position in this emerging space.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong interest or background in prediction markets, financial markets, trading, or crypto/web3
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and close new business opportunities
  • Excellent relationship-building skills across a global, fast-moving industry
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
  • Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
  • Additional languages (especially Spanish or Portuguese) are a plus

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business and build a strong global pipeline within prediction markets, fintech, and crypto ecosystems
  • Identify and close partnerships across NEXT.io's offerings (events, media, sponsorships, and digital products)
  • Build, manage, and grow long-term client relationships
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting through HubSpot
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and client success
  • Represent NEXT.io at industry events, conferences, and competitor activations
  • Stay ahead of trends across markets, trading, and digital assets to inform strategy and conversations

What Matters Most
Forget rigid checklists-we hire people, not CVs.
If you can sell, build relationships, think commercially, and have a genuine interest in where markets and finance are heading, we want to hear from you.
The Good Stuff
  • Flexible working environment
  • International travel to leading finance, crypto, and prediction market events
  • Competitive commission structure
  • Pension plan (post-probation)

About Us
NEXT.io exists to connect and push industries forward through thought leadership, events, and media. As we expand into prediction markets and next-generation financial ecosystems, our mission remains the same: bring together the most innovative minds to shape what's next.
We work with some of the most forward-thinking companies and individuals in the space-and we're just getting started.
