Job description

About Us: Blockworks is an information platform that sits at the center of the crypto industry. We transform raw, complex data and facts into actionable research, trusted alpha-driven insights, and world-class events. The result is transparency and confidence.

We enable investors, operators, and institutions to see past the noise, make better decisions, and drive the industry forward. Who You Are: You're a high-performing, self-directed sales professional with sharp instincts, strong presence, and a deep curiosity for emerging tech and the crypto ecosystem. You're philosophically aligned with the ethos of crypto and energized by the idea of being a part of it.

You're a fast learner and someone who relentlessly pushes to hone your skills and exceed your goals. The top of the leaderboard is where you feel most comfortable. You know how to authentically connect.

Whether it's a quick sync or a pitch to the C-suite, you've got a way of making conversations feel effortless—and actually go somewhere. You know how to build credibility quickly, ask smart questions, and turn early conversations into long-term partnerships. You bring a strong sense of personal ownership to everything you do, but you thrive as part of a team.

You show up for your team, celebrate their wins as loudly as your own, and lead with humility and high EQ. You raise the bar— not just for yourself, but for the people around you. What You'll Do: Every day will look a little different, but in general, you'll do things like: Drive New Business: You'll own a full sales cycle across a defined list of accounts — from prospecting and outreach to pitching, negotiating, and closing.

You'll build your pipeline proactively, source your own opportunities, and develop a strong sense of which accounts are worth your time. You'll be responsible for selling across Blockworks' full suite of offerings, including data, media, and events. Deal structures can vary in size and complexity depending on the partner.

Create Custom Solutions: You'll develop proposals that span Blockworks' data, media, and events products. You'll take the time to understand what a partner is actually trying to achieve and put together something that genuinely moves the needle for them — not a generic deck. Build Real Relationships: Your counterparts are heads of growth, marketing leads, CMOs, and founders at crypto companies and institutions entering the space.

You'll build relationships that outlast any single deal and turn early wins into long-term partnerships. You'll work across a mix of accounts, with a focus on growth-stage companies while still having exposure to larger and more established organizations. Stay on Top of the Industry: You'll track what's happening in crypto closely enough that it becomes a natural part of how you sell — not background reading you do once a month.

Emerging narratives, new protocols, capital flows — you use all of it to get into conversations earlier and sharper. You'll also build an understanding of how Blockworks' data product supports research, market intelligence, and decision-making so you can incorporate it into your conversations with clients. Represent Blockworks IRL: You'll attend key industry events, meet partners in person, and use those moments to accelerate relationships and create pipeline that doesn't come from cold outreach.

Operate with Discipline: You'll log everything in the CRM, forecast accurately, and manage your pipeline with rigor. You understand that discipline in process is what separates reps who have good months from reps who have good years. Deal sizes will vary, but many partnerships in this role will fall in the ~$50k–$100k range.

Work as a Team: We operate as a team. You'll be expected to share learnings, collaborate across deals, and contribute to a culture where success is collective, not individual. Experimentation is frequent at Blockworks.

Comfortability with being uncomfortable is a must. What You've Done Before: You've spent at least three years in a closing sales role — ideally in crypto, SaaS, or emerging tech — and you've consistently hit or exceeded your targets. You've sold six-figure deals, managed your own pipeline, and can speak clearly about how you got deals done: who the stakeholders were, what objections you faced, and how you worked through them.

You know how to manage a deal from first touch to final signature. You've built relationships with senior decision-makers and earned their trust over time — not just on a single pitch. It'd Be Great If You've Done This: Have experience selling data or technology products alongside media, event sponsorships, or content partnerships.

Have direct exposure to DeFi, crypto exchanges, or institutional digital asset teams — either as a seller or as a user of those products. Are already using AI tools in your day-to-day workflow to research accounts, write better outreach, and move faster. Salary, Benefits, & How We Work: This is a full time exempt position with an expected salary of $90,000year.

OTE $180,000k Benefits: Remote-First: We're a remote-first organization with an office in NYC for you to utilize as you please. 100% Medical Coverage for You: Close to fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for you, and a significant portion covered for your dependents. Flexible PTO: We have a flexible paid time off policy that doesn't limit the number of vacation days you can take.

Parental Leave: At Blockworks, all team members are eligible for 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave. Hardware Stipend: Every team member has a stipend to use to purchase the tools and technology that help them be their most productive. Learning & Growth Stipend: Every team member has a stipend to spend on their skill growth and professional development.

Career Growth: We prioritize skill growth and career development, and we have a clear, documented structure to take the guesswork out of individual development and career progression Global & Diverse Team: We're a global team, and we're committed to creating an open, inclusive, and diverse work culture Come build with us; we're just getting started! We know that diversity makes for the best problem-solving and creative thinking. We are dedicated to adding new perspectives to the team and encourage everyone to apply if your experience is close to what we are looking for.

Blockworks is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
