CRTC is seeking a full-time Digital Media & Production Technology Teacher for the 2026 2027 academic year. This position will support students in developing the technical and professional skills valued by postsecondary programs and the media production industry.
The Digital Media & Production Technology program is a new offering designed to provide hands-on training in video production, sound, lighting, film, editing, and digital storytelling. The successful candidate will develop curriculum, assess student progress, and facilitate experiential learning in a multimedia studio environment using industry-standard software and equipment.
The program operates in collaboration with Concord TV, providing students access to state-of-the-art equipment and real-world production experiences aligned with current workforce expectations. The instructor will also work closely with Concord High School's drama program, supporting theatrical productions through lighting and sound design.
Education - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Digital Media, Film, Communications, or Marketing.
Certification - State teaching license/certification or eligibility to obtain one.
Technical Skills - Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
Experience - Prior industry experience in broadcasting, film, or media production, required. Previous classroom teaching experience preferred.
