We are looking for a full-time Welding Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year to help students develop the technical and professional skills valued by postsecondary programs and the welding and manufacturing industries. The Welding program at CRTC is a new and growing program designed to provide students with hands-on training in welding, metal fabrication, shop safety, and industry practices.
Our welding lab is being developed in collaboration with industry partners to ensure students have access to equipment and experiences aligned with current workforce expectations. We also maintain strong partnerships with local manufacturers, fabrication shops, and skilled trades employers to support internships, job shadowing, and work-based learning opportunities for students.
We are open to hiring either a qualified welding professional from industry without teaching experience or an experienced CTE welding instructor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience in welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or a related skilled trades field.
  • Experience with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, oxy-fuel cutting, plasma cutting, and metal fabrication preferred.
  • AWS certifications preferred.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university applicable to the teaching assignment preferred, or ability to obtain a Statement of Eligibility from the NH Department of Education in Welding Technology or related CTE area.
  • Ability to maintain a safe welding lab environment and enforce industry-standard safety practices.
  • Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.
