Job description

  • Carry out all phases of job responsibilities as directed by their sales supervisor.
  • EOE.
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • 2 years minimum outside sales experience in the beverage industry (wholesale, supplier, restaurant or hotel experience preferred).
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of basic computer applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint ...)
  • College degree preferred, however High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, mathematical, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment.
  • Working schedule varies; candidate must understand there may be late night and weekend events he/she will be expected to attend. Candidate will be expected to keep account files updated and current (files to include account history, wine lists and drink lists and any other essential information that is needed to manage territory).
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Must possess valid AL Drivers license.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to maintain 100/300/100 insurance limitations.
  • Must be licensable under the guidelines determined by state alcohol regulations
  • Background Checks (i.e. Police backgrounds, reference checks...)
  • Motor Vehicle Record will be pulled to establish employment eligibility:
  • Cannot have more than two (2): moving violations and/or at-fault vehicle accidents (any combination) in the past three (3) years (for speeding, violations must be under 16mph)
  • Cannot have more than one (1): speeding violation of 16-29mph OR at-fault accident in the past three (3) years
  • Cannot have a major violation such as: DUI/DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and/or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) years
