Position Description

The Analyst of FP&A will be a key member of the team responsible for developing financial reporting, forecasting, valuation, and benchmarking for the entire Crown enterprise on behalf of Crown family leadership, independent trustees of family trusts, and individual account holders (beneficiaries), which will empower strategic decision making for all asset classes across the enterprise.  

Responsibilities

  • Partner with FP&A team members in the development of annual and quarterly Enterprise Reporting and cash forecasting.
  • Contributes to FP&A Customer Service model in supporting stakeholders with investment data aggregation, analysis, and reporting. Stakeholders include Treasury, Accounting, Family Services Department, Trustees, and Investment Teams.
  • Serve as a point of contact for a variety of investment and family office stakeholders, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Implement and monitor benchmarking processes to enable consistent reporting across the enterprise and comparative performance vs. industry standards.
    Develop performance projections, investment analysis, and asset allocation parameters. 
  • Utilize technology to implement standardized reporting across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with team members, FP&A in the development and maintenance of FP&A Investment Database, related tables, SQL queries, and PowerBI visualizations.
  • Develop ad-hoc reports, requests, presentations, board materials, etc. to support strategic decision making and initiatives (both independently driven projects and part of collaborative team projects) .
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, MIS, or other related business degree.
  • Certifications/Licenses: CPA, CFA, Series 79, or other financial certifications a plus.
  • Years of Experience: 0-3 Years of experience with a background in corporate finance, financial services, investments or related discipline. 
  • Experience in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working both independently and in teams across complex environments.
  • Ability to understand issues, determine root causes, risk implications, and provide recommendations.
  • Capability to connect with peers and other stakeholders to develop strong working relationships.
  • Solid financial analysis skills including benchmarking, financial and operating metrics.
  • Experience working with direct database connections / ERP systems a plus (e.g., SQL, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
