Job description

Regional Market Leader (Branch Manager) - Los Angeles, CA

Role Summary

The Regional Market Leader is the single point of commercial accountability for the region’s growth, partner ecosystem health, and operational execution. Reporting to the Country Manager, you will translate national strategy into disciplined regional action. Your primary mandate is building a robust, active baseline partner network—specifically Silver and Gold Partners—who consistently deliver high-value projects.

This is a market ownership role where you own both the result and the method.

Core Objectives

  • The Revenue Engine (Baseline First): Build and maintain a pool of productive Silver Partners. This is non-negotiable and takes priority over all other activities to ensure revenue predictability.
  • Partner Activation: Address the "activation gap" by ensuring signed partners move quickly from their first training to their first live project.
  • Strategic Development: In parallel with baseline growth, personally engage with high-value integrators and design-build firms capable of material revenue at scale.
  • Ecosystem Influence: Drive regional awareness through architects, designers, and developers to create "demand pull" for our partners.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit and lead a high-performing team across lead development, coaching, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systematic Hunting: Drive proactive, outbound partner acquisition against qualified regional target lists.
  • Activation Oversight: Diagnose and remove systemic blockers (training gaps, product confidence) that prevent partners from producing.
  • Pipeline Discipline: Maintain a focused pipeline of 10–15 genuine strategic targets while ensuring strategic activity never crowds out baseline execution.
  • Experience Center Mastery: Leverage the regional Experience Center as the primary tool for project conversion and engagement.
  • Operational Excellence: Set the standard for execution quality through CRM discipline, KPI visibility, and structured review cadences.

Candidate Profile:

Experience

  • 3–5+ years in B2B channel/partner sales (Electrical, AV, Building Automation, or Construction Tech).
  • Proven track record of building ecosystems from the ground up, not just managing legacy accounts.
  • Experience leading small commercial teams with full revenue accountability.
  • Expertise in systematic outbound sales motions rather than relying on inbound leads.

Capabilities & Traits

  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to operate at both the high-level strategic and granular execution levels.
  • Direct Communicator: Clear and candid with partners, your team, and leadership.
  • Data-Driven: Comfortable using CRM data to drive decisions and manage pipelines.
  • Operational Discipline: You value output over mere activity and do not require a large infrastructure to execute.
