Job Title: Property Protection Officer - CCW
Job Type: Full Time
Pay Range: $45.00-$55.00
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM

Position Summary:

We are hiring reliable and professional Property Protection Officer - CCW to provide safety and security at public and private events. The position involves screening attendees, managing crowd flow, and enforcing venue and event policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests, staff, and performers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct entry point screening including bag checks, metal detection, and ID verification, as required.
  • Monitor and control access to restricted or secure areas within the venue.
  • Maintain crowd safety through proactive observation and crowd control techniques.
  • Enforce all event and venue policies, including codes of conduct and safety regulations.
  • Respond to and report incidents involving disorderly conduct, intoxication, medical emergencies, or violations of venue rules.
  • Work closely with local law enforcement, emergency personnel, and event staff during large-scale or high-attendance events.
  • Provide directions and general customer service to event attendees.
  • Document all security incidents and complete necessary reports accurately and promptly.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid California Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) is required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience in event, venue, or crowd control security is preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand or walk for 6โ€“12 hours per shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to remain calm and physically capable during emergencies or high-stress situations.

Work Environment:

  • Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • High noise levels and large crowds should be expected.
  • Frequent interaction with attendees, performers, vendors, and event staff.
