Job description

Crossroads Youth & Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Classroom Support for its Neighborhood HS location in Pottawatomie County. Classroom Support personnel assists in creating and managing an attractive, warm and challenging learning environment for infants, toddlers and children; incorporating developmentally appropriate early intervention, learning, and care activities which meet the needs of the group as well as those of individual children and families.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Early childhood training and experience preferred

License:

  • Must possess a valid Driverโ€™s License and maintain acceptable liability insurance

Knowledge:

  • Excellent written and oral communication;
  • Organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills required;
  • Knowledge of community resources, methods and practices of health and safety precautions, providing age-appropriate education services and facilitating family involvement in program services.
