What You'll Do
As an ICU RN, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to critically ill patients while utilizing advanced assessment skills and clinical judgment.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage critically ill patients using advanced monitoring equipment and technology
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and critical care protocols
  • Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and coordinate patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Advocate for patients and support families during challenging healthcare experiences
Qualifications
Required
  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Red Cross BLS certification
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or Red Cross ALS certification
Preferred
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • One year of ICU or acute care nursing experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all members of the healthcare team
  • Physical stamina and emotional resilience to thrive in a fast-paced critical care environment
Compensation & Incentives
Compensation
Hourly Range: $31.25 - $46.88
Shift Incentives
Eligible for evening, night, and weekend shift incentives based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
Performance Bonus
