Job description

Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking a Momentum Functional Business Analyst to support new functional design and system sustainment for the DFAS (Defense Finance and Accounting Service) client team across a geographically dispersed team. This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred location is Fairfax, VA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities: Works independently and efficiently to support Functional Operations for new development and sustainment tasks of the project, to include requirements gathering, functional design, documentation, testing, end user support, internal and external written/verbal communication, training / change management support, etc. . Performs in depth analysis to troubleshoot and provide support to end users, as needed . Participates in project status and planning sessions with senior customer leadership team . Helps coordinate functional activities across the functional team . Serves as a liaison between the functional team and the other workstreams (e.g., technical, reports, interfaces, change management) . Works closely with the client functional staff on functional tasks . Provides expertise and content to support all key functional deliverables . Identifies improvements and innovations internally and for the customer . Supports cross training across the development and O&M teams to grow the team's knowledge, and mentors junior members of the team Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Bachelor's degree or higher in a business related field such as Business, finance, Accounting, Management, Computer Science, or Economics . Minimum 5 years' experience with Momentum product suite, ideally in the areas of Budget Execution, General Ledger, and/or System Admin . Minimum 2 years' experience in a client facing role . Experience writing and executing Structured Query Language (SQL) scripts . Self starter who's capable of working independently and coming up to speed on new features quickly . Being consultative with the client to identify opportunities for improvement and better understand their needs and pain points . Experience with Software Design Life Cycle (SDLC) . Strong written and verbal skills Desired qualifications/non essential skills required: . Experience with ServiceNow . The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 $156,700.00.
