Job description


Glen Ellyn District 41 is Seeking a Cross Country Coach  at Hadley Jr High Group III

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop training programs to improve endurance and performance.
  • Teach proper running techniques and race strategies.
  • Foster a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Monitor and support the academic progress of student-athletes.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, school administration, and the Athletic Director.
  • Attend all meets and provide guidance during competitions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous coaching experience in cross country or track and field, preferably at the junior high level.
  • Strong knowledge of cross country training and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and mentor young athletes.
