Job Summary

YAGEO Group is currently seeking a Logistics Sr. Supervisor at the distribution center in the Atlanta, GA location. This position serves as the company's onsite representative at a third-party logistics (3PL) distribution center, providing leadership and oversight of daily warehouse, inventory, order fulfillment, transportation, and international logistics operations. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, inventory accuracy, customer order fulfillment, SAP transaction integrity, import/export compliance support, and service performance while holding 3PL partners accountable to contractual obligations, operational KPIs, and service level agreements.  This role is onsite at the distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the company's onsite representative at the 3PL distribution center, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant warehouse operations.
  • Oversee daily execution of shipping and receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, returns, and cross-border logistics processes.
  • Drive inventory accuracy through cycle count oversight, discrepancy investigation, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time while proactively managing backorders, shortages, and service exceptions.
  • Monitor SAP S/4HANA transaction accuracy and resolve system or process issues impacting inventory, warehouse operations, customer deliveries, and international import/export activities.
  • Manage and coordinate international and cross-border shipments, ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, trade documentation, and customer delivery commitments.
  • Hold 3PL partners accountable for operational KPIs, service level agreements (SLAs), and contractual commitments.
  • Partner with Commercial, Procurement, Transportation, Customer Service, Distribution Center teams, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to resolve operational issues and improve service performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for inventory, fulfillment, transportation, cross-border, and customer service issues.
  • Review freight activity, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and transportation charges to ensure shipment accuracy, cost control, and chargeback recovery.
  • Develop reporting and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in service, cost, inventory accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

KPI Ownership & Performance Accountability

This role is accountable for monitoring, reporting, and driving improvements across key operational and financial performance metrics, including:

  • On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance

  • Inventory accuracy and cycle count compliance
  • Warehouse throughput and operational efficiency
  • International and cross-border shipment performance, including customs documentation accuracy and exception resolution
  • Cost per shipment and transportation cost performance
  • Freight billing accuracy and accessorial charge validation
  • Chargeback identification, recovery, and prevention
  • Freight cost recovery through audits and dispute resolution
  • SAP S/4HANA transaction accuracy and process compliance
  • 3PL, carrier, customs broker, and freight forwarder performance against SLAs and operational KPIs

Required Qualifications

  • Strong SAP S/4HANA experience supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, order fulfillment, distribution processes, and international logistics activities.

  • Experience supporting international logistics and cross-border import/export operations, including transportation coordination, customs documentation, regulatory compliance, and issue resolution.
  • Experience troubleshooting SAP transactions and process issues in a distribution or warehouse environment.
  • Proven experience managing vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and freight audit processes.
  • Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and cross-border transportation providers.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, or CSCMP certification.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives within a distribution, manufacturing, or fulfillment environment.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of logistics, warehouse, distribution center, or supply chain experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing or overseeing third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
