Overview:We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to perform various excavation and construction tasks. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.Duties:- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to perform excavation, digging, and grading tasks- Use horizontal drilling techniques to install underground utilities- Build and maintain trenches, ditches, and other excavated areas- Operate dump trucks, tankers, loaders, graders, and water trucks as needed- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure proper functioning- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all timesRequirements:- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record- Proficient in operating excavators, dump trucks, tankers, loaders, graders, and water trucks- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness- Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments and lift heavy objects- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions-A valid heavy equipment certification is required to operate the machinery (CHIO) (OSHA)Note: All positions at our company are paid positions.
