Job description

ABOUT THIS POSITION:
The Landing Page Builder plays a vital role in optimizing the performance of our Local Business Department by designing, building, and refining high-converting landing pages that support our clients' lead generation efforts. This position requires a strong understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, conversion rate optimization, clean design principles, tracking implementation, and the ability to move quickly while maintaining accuracy and consistency. The Landing Page Builder collaborates closely with Account Managers, Strategists, Media Buyers, and the Creative team to ensure each page aligns with audience targeting, messaging, and campaign objectives. Through data-driven testing, technical troubleshooting, and ongoing iteration, this role helps maximize conversion rates and ensures our clients receive the highest standard of funnel execution and performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, build, and optimize high-converting landing pages using AI and HTML/CSS/JavaScript tailored for local lead generation clients.
• Implement best-practice layouts, mobile-first structure, and clear conversion pathways that align with campaign goals.
• Set up and integrate tracking elements including pixel events, UTM parameters, and form integrations with CRMs or automation tools.
• Independently conduct and report on A/B tests across layouts, headlines, CTAs, copy variations, and visual elements to improve conversion rates.
• Maintain clean organization of page files, variants, naming conventions, and assets across all environments.
• Analyze landing page performance data weekly (CVA, CVR, scroll depth, form abandonment, etc.) and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Lead Strategists and Media Buyers to align landing pages with audience targeting and ad messaging.
• Ensure fast load times, responsive design, and technical accuracy across all device types.
• Troubleshoot issues related to forms, scripts, redirects, dynamic text replacement, and third-party integrations.
• Request or revise creative assets (copy, images, icons) from the creative team to support testing and conversions.
• Maintain adherence to BAD's design SOPs, branding guidelines, testing frameworks, and performance standards.
• Continuously research CRO trends, landing page best practices, and new features to improve performance.
• NOTE: This is NOT a website development role, and you will not be building complete websites. This role is specifically for building individual landing pages for local lead generation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1-2 years of experience building high-converting landing pages, preferably in page building platforms (Unbounce, Webflow, GoHighLevel, etc) with basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript with the ability to edit and enhance website code independently.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design, with the ability to develop well-formatted landing pages without a provided design.
• Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and local lead-generation funnels.
• Ability to quickly and effectively build 15-20 landing pages monthly, while adhering to CRO principles, design principles and landing page best practices.
• Experience working with tracking tools (Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, GA4, CRM webhooks, etc.).
• Experience setting up, deploying and analyzing A/B tests for statistical significance required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret landing page performance metrics.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple pages and iterations simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with Strategists, Media Buyers, and Creative teams.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional QA skills to ensure error-free page builds and tracking setups.
• Ability to execute quickly while maintaining design consistency, technical accuracy, and brand alignment.
• Ability to read and write proficient English required.
