Description
Summary: The Data and Database Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, integrity, and optimization of the organization's donor database (CRM). This role supports the Development team by ensuring accurate data entry, maintaining donor records, generating reports, and improving systems that drive fundraising efforts. The Coordinator plays a key role in enabling data-informed decision-making and strengthening donor engagement.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
โข Maintain and coordinate the donor database, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and completeness
โข Establish and enforce data entry standards, policies and procedures
โข Oversee data imports, exports and system updates
โข Accurately record and reconcile donations, pledges and other contributions
โข Ensure timely gift entry and proper donor acknowledgment process
โข Maintain confidential donor and financial information in compliance with organizational policies
โข Generate regular and ad hoc reports on fundraising performance, donor trends and campaign results
โข Support development team with data analysis to inform strategy and decision making
โข Track key metrics such as donor retention, acquisition and campaign ROI
โข Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
โข Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, information systems, business, or related field preferred. Work experience can be substituted for education.
โข 2-4 years experience coordinating a donor database or CRM system (e.g., e-Tapestry, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, Bloomerang, etc.)
โข Experience in a non-profit or development environment strongly preferred

โข Some evening and weekend work required to attend events
