Instructors may work in schools, colleges, or corporate settings to improve decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Their goal is to foster independent thinking and intellectual curiosity in learners.

What are the typical responsibilities of a critical thinking instructor during a semester?

Critical Thinking Instructors are responsible for designing and delivering lesson plans that challenge students to analyze, evaluate, and construct arguments effectively throughout the semester. They facilitate group discussions, create assignments or case studies, and assess student progress using various evaluative tools. In addition to classroom teaching, instructors may collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary activities and participate in professional development workshops. Staying current with best practices and adapting lessons to diverse learning needs is also a key part of the role.
