Are you ready to drive growth and secure top-tier enterprise accounts in a high-impact territory? As an Enterprise Account Executive at Rapid7, you will lead strategic revenue expansion across key accounts while partnering with channel allies to penetrate greenfield opportunities. This is a quota-carrying role critical to advancing our mission and scaling our presence in the Mid-Atlantic region. While this position is fully remote, we are specifically seeking candidates located within the Greater Boston or Greater Pittsburgh regions.

Our Enterprise Sales team partners cross-functionally to ensure strategic clients maximize their return on investment while driving sustainable revenue growth. We collaborate closely with internal experts and regional partners to deliver customer value and expand market footprint.

About the Role

As an Enterprise Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be to grow Rapid7’s top revenue-generating enterprise customers and expand greenfield market share within the Pittsburgh region. Specifically, your focus will be to:

  • Manage and nurture strategic relationships with key customer accounts and subsidiaries in the Pittsburgh area.
  • Drive net new sales expansion and lead complex renewal processes across the Large Enterprise segment.
  • Build and cultivate strong long-term relationships with key regional channel partners.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure account health and customer retention.
  • Lead executive business reviews with top strategic accounts to assess satisfaction and surface expansion opportunities.
  • Initiate renewal discussions 4 to 6 months in advance to safeguard existing revenue streams.
  • Establish comprehensive account success plans in close alignment with Customer Success.
  • Maintain accurate system records, opportunity pipelines, and sales forecasts in Salesforce.

  • Proven track record with 5+ years of experience selling enterprise software solutions within the cybersecurity industry.
  • Demonstrated background with 3+ years of success leveraging channel partners to close enterprise deals.
  • Strong technical acumen and broad understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem and client selection criteria.
  • Deep experience navigating complex, matrixed enterprise organizations (1,500+ employees) to drive consensus and revenue.
  • Expertise managing both net new business acquisition and multi-year renewal lifecycles in large enterprise accounts.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills suited for C-level executive interactions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% for client and partner meetings as needed.
  • Ability to build a global network and work across internal boundaries (CS, SE, Sales Ops) to deliver sustainable customer outcomes (Cross-Functional Collaboration).
