Registered Nurse (RN General, Dialysis, Mental Health)

The Behavioral Healthcare Provider develops, coordinates, implements, and provides interdisciplinary services related to behavioral and biomedical science. This role involves the application of relevant knowledge and techniques to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. The provider will independently offer services within their credentialed scope of practice. They may act as lead workers or liaisons to support agencies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as lead worker over lower-level behavioral healthcare providers.
  • Independently develop and implement treatment plans for clients.
  • Coordinate admission, assessment, evaluation, and treatment plans for clients' care cycles.
  • Provide interventions for acute and complex clients.
  • Handle cases with multiple factors and problems, providing crisis intervention as needed.
  • Participate in establishing, implementing, and directing behavioral healthcare programs and treatment objectives.
  • Develop and design treatment intervention techniques and procedures.
  • Evaluate and modify treatment systems based on client progress and behavior change capability.
  • Evaluate the performance of lower-level behavioral healthcare providers regarding prescribed treatment plans.
  • Maintain necessary data documents to satisfy federal, state, and local agency requirements.
  • Serve as an active member of treatment teams, training sessions, and department meetings.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with other facilities and support services for coordination of referrals and follow-up services.
