Postion Summary:
Senior Human Resources Generalist - Employee Relations Specialist a newly created position to help support the growth of the business. Wil be a trusted partner to leaders and employees, helping create a positive, engaged, and high-performing workplace. This role has a strong focus on employee relations, including coaching leaders, conducting investigations, resolving workplace concerns, performance management, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
This hands-on position partners closely with leaders to support workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, leave administration, and organizational initiatives. Success in this role requires strong judgment, relationship-building skills, and a visible onsite presence. This position is fully onsite and is not eligible for hybrid or remote work.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders and employees on employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, performance management, and corrective actions.
  • Support leaders with employee engagement, talent development, and effective people management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Facilitate new-hire orientation and ongoing onboarding support while supporting recruiting, employee development, and retention initiatives.
  • Coordinate injury management, workers' compensation, and employee leaves of absence.
  • Partner with corporate HR to implement HR programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through employee engagement and wellness activities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • 2+ years of employee relations experience, including investigations and performance management.
  • Proven experience consulting on a wide range of employee relations matters
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% between Brooklyn Park and Dassel facilities.

Pay Range
USD $75,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.
Pay Range Details
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
