The role is based in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Lehigh Acres, Florida. As a Physical Therapist at Stone Crest, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify functional limitations and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy interventions, re-evaluating and modifying treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress.
• Provide ongoing consultation to healthcare providers regarding patient treatment plans, ensuring a coordinated approach to care.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and in compliance with healthcare regulations, including submitting charges for services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote physical therapy services and educate the public on health and wellness.
• Mentor and supervise support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Maintain strong knowledge of industry trends, continuing education, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

You will work with a diverse clientele that spans various age groups and cultural backgrounds, with a focus on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain conditions. Your approach to care will be holistic, addressing not only physical rehabilitation but also patient comfort and well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State License in Physical Therapy is required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records and word processing software.
• Ability to foster positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient rehabilitation. Experience in a leadership capacity or specialization in orthopedic rehabilitation is a plus, as we value clinical expertise and mentorship abilities.
