Optimal Field Services, a Crest Industries company, is looking to add an experienced Planner to our team. The Planner for Optimal Field Services will be responsible for the development of detailed plans in SAP, cost estimates, and job packages, including expense and capital projects. This position entails working with third party contractors, warehousing, engineering, technical, and procurement. The planner requires knowledge for planning turnaround work activities and development of job process to develop a cohesive schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Develops and implements detailed plans with safety as the number one priority.
โ€ข Field Job Package Development.
โ€ข Job process development for planning and scheduling.
โ€ข Bill of Material Development.
โ€ข Determine estimated resources (manpower, materials, equipment, and tools).
โ€ข Assist in the development of JLA's and lift plans.
โ€ข Generate complete work opportunities and develop knowledge and familiarity for the turnaround team.
โ€ข Coordinate timely delivery of equipment and materials at the lowest cost.
โ€ข Maintain plan with schedulers during turnaround execution and update field contractors as changes occur.
REQUIREMENTS FOR Planner:
โ€ข High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
โ€ข Experience using SAP and be able to plan in it.
โ€ข Experience in Turn Around Environments.
โ€ข Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
โ€ข Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
โ€ข Excellent communication abilities.
